Hotpoint appliances we repair
Hotpoint Refrigerator Repair
Your refrigerator is the one appliance that never gets a day off. When a Hotpoint refrigerator starts running warm, leaking or making noise, food is on a timer. Our technicians come to your home, find the part that actually failed, and fix most Hotpoint refrigerators in one visit.
Common Hotpoint refrigerator problems
Refrigerator not cold
Condenser fan, relay or defrost. We confirm the failed part on site before replacing anything.
Fridge is warm but the freezer is cold
This is the most common refrigerator call we get. Cold air is made in the freezer and blown into the fresh-food side, so when the freezer is fine but the fridge is warm, the air isn't moving. The usual causes are an evaporator fan motor that stopped, a defrost heater or thermostat that failed so the coil iced over, or an air damper stuck closed. We check each one and fix the real cause.
Not cooling at all
When both sections are warm, we look at the parts that make the cold: the condenser fan, the start relay and overload, dirty condenser coils, and the control or inverter board. A failed compressor is less common than people think, and we test it before we ever call it bad.
Hotpoint Washer Repair
A Hotpoint washer that won't drain, won't spin or shows an error code can stop the whole household. We repair Hotpoint front-load and top-load washers at your home, and we carry the common parts on the truck.
Common Hotpoint washer problems
Washer won't spin
Lid switch, belt or motor. We confirm the failed part on site before replacing anything.
Won't drain, water left in the drum
Standing water usually means the drain pump has failed or is clogged. Socks, coins and lint collect in the pump filter or coin trap, and a kinked drain hose can do the same. We clear it or replace the pump.
Leaking under the machine
On front-loaders the door boot seal is the most common source. Pump seals, inlet hoses and tub seals can also leak. We find the source before replacing anything.
Hotpoint Dryer Repair
Your dryer is your washer's partner in the laundry room. When a Hotpoint dryer won't heat, takes two cycles to dry or starts squealing, we come out, check the parts and the vent, and get it drying again.
Common Hotpoint dryer problems
Dryer no heat
Element or thermal fuse. We confirm the failed part on site before replacing anything.
Won't start
A door switch, a blown thermal fuse, the start switch or a broken drive belt can all stop a dryer from starting.
Squeaking, thumping or grinding
Drum rollers, the idler pulley, drum glides and the drive belt wear out with use. We replace the worn parts so the drum turns quietly again.
Hotpoint Dishwasher Repair
A Hotpoint dishwasher that leaves water in the tub, washes poorly or leaks under the cabinet turns a convenience into a chore. We repair Hotpoint dishwashers at your home and fix the root cause.
Common Hotpoint dishwasher problems
Dishwasher leaking
Gasket and pump seal. We confirm the failed part on site before replacing anything.
Water standing in the bottom
A failed drain pump, a clogged filter, a blocked air gap or a new garbage disposal with the knockout plug still in place can all leave water in the tub.
Dishes come out dirty
The wash pump, clogged spray arms or low water fill from the inlet valve are the usual causes. Sometimes the filter just needs a good cleaning.
Hotpoint Oven & Range Repair
Ranges are the center of any kitchen, and a Hotpoint oven that won't heat or burners that won't light can't wait. We repair Hotpoint gas and electric ranges, wall ovens and cooktops at your home.
Common Hotpoint oven or range problems
Range element dead
Element or switch. We confirm the failed part on site before replacing anything.
Oven won't heat
On electric ovens, the bake or broil element is the usual cause. On gas ovens, it's usually a weak igniter. The temperature sensor and control board can also stop the oven from heating.
Burner won't light or keeps clicking
A wet or dirty igniter, a failing spark module or a burner switch can cause constant clicking or a burner that won't light.
