Dryer Repair in Houston
Electric and gas dryers that won't heat, take two cycles to dry, squeal or won't start. A dryer that runs hot is also a fire risk, so we check the vent and safety parts on every visit.

Parts we replace most.
- Heating elements
- Thermal fuses & cut-offs
- Gas igniters & valve coils
- Drum rollers & idler pulleys
- Drive belts
- Door switches
- Moisture sensors
- Vent hookups
What's going on, and what usually causes it.
Runs but no heat
Heating element or thermal fuse on electric; igniter, flame sensor or gas valve coils on gas.
Takes forever to dry
A restricted vent is the number one cause, then thermostats and moisture sensors.
Won't start
Door switch, thermal fuse, start switch or a broken belt.
Squeaking, thumping or grinding
Drum rollers, idler pulley, glides or the drive belt.
Gets too hot or smells burnt
Clogged vent or a failed cycling thermostat. Stop using it until it's checked.
Shuts off mid-cycle
Motor overheating, thermostats, or a blocked vent tripping a safety.

Dryer Repair FAQ
Gas dryer, is that safe for you to work on?
Yes. We service gas dryers and leak-check the connection after the repair.
My dryer takes two cycles. Is that a repair?
Often it's the vent. We check the vent first, because replacing parts won't help if the air can't get out.
Do you clean dryer vents?
We clear lint at the dryer and the near section of vent during the repair, and we'll tell you if the run to the outside needs a full cleaning.
